The AirFall is an electronic airbag jacket for people working at height.

It is designed to supplement, not replace, standard fall-arrest PPE. It covers fall hazards of roughly 1 to 3 metres, the range where a conventional harness and lanyard may not arrest a fall in time.

The airbag deploys automatically when the system detects a fall, absorbing the shock and protecting the back, torso and neck. It is CE certified and fully reusable: after a deployment you replace the two CO2 cartridges and it's ready to wear again.

Available in two versions, with the Air'Fall Max adding face protection. Sizes S/M, L/XL, 2XL and 3XL.

What's included:

2 x 60cc CO2 cartridges, fitted in the airbag module

Put the vest on and close the buckle. Closing the buckle switches the airbag on automatically, and it can't go off while you take the vest off, because the buckle has to be undone first. The electronic system follows your movements in real time and inflates the two airbags if it detects a fall from 1 metre or more, measured at the feet. After a deployment, replace both 60cc CO2 cartridges before wearing it again. Charge by USB-C: about 5 hours gives up to 16 hours of use.

It follows every movement and acts only on a real fall

An electronic detection system reads body position and movement in real time. If it detects a fall from a height of 1 metre or more, measured at the feet, it inflates two airbags around the upper body. No action is needed from the wearer.

Air'Fall is designed for fall hazards of roughly 1 to 3 metres, where a harness and lanyard may not arrest a fall in time. It supplements, not replaces, standard fall-arrest PPE.

The Air'Fall in action

Movement analysis. The system follows the worker's movements without getting in the way of the job.
Fall detected. It picks up a fall the moment something unusual happens.
Airbag inflates. In 150 milliseconds, with no action needed from the wearer.
Worker protected. The airbag absorbs the impact across the back, chest, hips and neck.

Built for real work, not false alarms

The system is calibrated to ignore normal work movements, so your team can wear it all day without changing how they work. It won't inflate when someone is:

Climbing up or down a step, stool or ladder
Kneeling or bending forward
Lifting or unloading equipment
Swinging a hammer, even with big arm movements

It also ignores drops of under about 40 cm, roughly two steps. A sudden jump from above 40 cm that isn't part of the job can set it off.

Closing the buckle switches the airbag on automatically, so nobody has to remember to arm it. It can't go off while the vest is being taken off, because the buckle has to be undone first.

Two airbags, placed where it counts

Air'Fall uses two 18 litre airbags, 36 litres in total. Two smaller chambers build pressure faster than one large one, which means quicker protection and better energy absorption, with the weight spread more evenly across the vest.

Both versions protect the neck, chest, abdomen, back, sacrum and hips. Air'Fall Max adds an extra inflatable zone for the face and head.

A rigid foam plate behind the airbag holds the cartridges in place and spreads an impact across the whole back, from the upper to the lower spine, rather than onto a single point.

Three zip-on layers

Lining. Sits against the body for warmth, absorbs sweat and is machine washable.
Airbag module. Holds the airbag chambers, the two 60cc CO2 cartridges, the electronics and the on/off buckle.
High-vis outer. Protects the airbag from scratches, dust and splashes. Water repellent, machine washable, ISO 20471 certified, with zip-off sleeves.

The layers zip and Velcro together. After a deployment, replace both CO2 cartridges and the vest is ready to wear again.
